Amanda believes that changing the stories we tell about ourselves can change everything — our sense of worth, our relationships, our peace of mind. That belief comes from her own life: bringing mindfulness into how she lives and works has transformed how she understands herself and moves through the world, and she wants to help others find that same shift.
Amanda offers one-off 1-1 sessions for anyone who wants focused time and attention on something specific — whether that's a piece of writing you're working on, or something else in life you'd like support to sit with. If you're working on a fictional story, memoir or piece of life writing, her mentoring session gives you detailed written feedback ahead of a Zoom call, so you can talk through your ideas and questions together. She also offers a package of 3 sessions for more in-depth work.
If you're navigating a transition, a difficult relationship, a limiting belief, or simply want space to explore where you are right now, her Yoga Nidra session offers a live, personalised practice, followed by a recording and journalling prompts to take away with you.

Amanda Saint is an award-winning author, mindfulness mentor, and founder of The Mindful Writer. Her work sits at the meeting point of mindfulness, meditation, creative writing and journal therapy — helping people change the stories they tell about themselves, so they can find a more peaceful, honest relationship with who they are.
She holds Diplomas in Meditation Teaching and Journal Therapy, is a certified Mindfulness Mentor, and is a Yoga Alliance-certified Yoga Nidra teacher, having trained with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. Alongside this, she is an experienced writing mentor with two published novels, a novella-in-flash, and numerous award-winning short stories to her name. She founded an independent press that published 24 books, earning recognition as Most Innovative Publisher at the 2020 Saboteur Awards, and has worked with hundreds of writers to help them develop their craft and their relationship with it.
Amanda draws on over a decade of personal mindfulness practice and her own experience of transforming her relationship with herself, to guide others — whether they're working on a piece of writing or working through something else life has brought them.
For many women, the relationship with their mother shapes lifelong beliefs — about worth, about love, about their place in the world. When that relationship was difficult, those beliefs can run beneath everything, influencing how you see and love yourself, how you show up in relationships, how much you allow yourself to want.
Amanda offers a small number of places for in-depth one-to-one work in this area, combining mindfulness and journal therapy to help you understand the story you've been carrying, and begin to write a different one. This work draws on her own lived experience of transforming her relationship with herself, as well as her training in mindfulness mentoring and journal therapy.
Who this is for?
This work is for women who feel ready to look honestly at how their relationship with their mother has shaped them, and who want support to do that gently and with intention. It isn't therapy or trauma counselling, and it isn't a quick fix — it's a considered, guided space to notice old patterns and begin shifting them.
